Expert Estate Planning Attorney in Brevard, FL

My name is Peter Jenka, attorney at Attycus Law, PLLC. Before founding this firm, I spent years working on contracts, agreements, and transactions at two of the top law firms in the world, each boasting several offices, over a thousand lawyers, and more than a billion dollars in annual revenue. My practice there focused on finance law and involved well over a hundred matters with almost as many clients. While this work was exciting, it lacked the distinctly human and intimate feel of a small-town practice. After years of representing large corporate clients and private equity funds, I chose to refocus my efforts on providing Brevard legal services to forward-looking individuals and families in central Florida. My focus is on helping clients create and protect assets and wealth across generations, whether they are just starting out or looking to build on their existing financial successes. Transitioning from aiding large corporations to supporting everyday people in their wealth-building journeys has been incredibly rewarding and inspires me every day.

I earned my law degree at the University of Notre Dame, graduating summa cum laude and receiving the Farabaugh Prize, one of the top three academic honors in a class of nearly two hundred. I was fortunate to receive a merit scholarship that significantly covered my expenses and worked through my second and third years, helping to cover the remainder of my costs. Additionally, I was a member of the Law Review and a Dean's Circle Fellow.

I completed my bachelor's degree at Duke University, graduating magna cum laude. My coursework encompassed accounting, finance, statistics, public policy, and political science, and I authored an extensive research paper on lobbying and interest group influence. I made the Dean's List or the Dean's List with Distinction every semester.

Outside of work, I enjoy scuba diving, skiing, golfing, and shooting. A huge fan of Jimmy Buffett, I have seen him in concert multiple times. I also have a deep appreciation for ornate wooden furniture, and one of my hobbies is furniture restoration. I often build furniture and take on home improvement projects in my spare time.
